You've probably already heard about Supreme suing Barbara Kruger (if not go to the link to her website) something that has rightly pissed off the artist.
The brand, although doing many collaborations with such artists as Damien Hirst and the Chapman Brothers, is powered by greed.
What I have taken in is the fact that Supreme identifies its self as a skateboarding brand yet by going ahead with suing reflects that Supreme just don't get the joke, take them selfs too seriously. The teeshirt wouldn't exist if Supreme didn't have a following so theres not really a point of grabbing more money seen as though the company is loaded anyway.

"Bottom line is this: I don't think Supreme should be able to squash free speech or my right to utilize parody in my design aesthetic."
People will still buy Supreme clothing- Lady Gaga and Rihanna pulling out a tampon will always sell.
I guess the moral of the story is- if your going to own a company that prints tits for a living expect people to rebel against it.
